3D Printed Models for Clinical Procedures Training

A 3D printed airway model has been produced from a CT scan of a dog's lungs.

This 3D printed model has been developed for learning and practicing clinical procedures. The veterinary procedure simulation allows trainee vets to learn and develop the required technical skills, prior to performing on live patients or animals.

Students are able to practice and develop bronchoscopy skills with direct real time feedback from mentors in a safe learning environment, they can practice regularly and are able to make mistakes with no risk to patients.
