Porous Lane

Diverting end-of-life tyres from landfill to create high-performing, permeable pavements.

Australia currently has a substantial 55 million tyres entering the waste stream every year, of which only 5% is recycled. Taking the opportunity to put this waste to good use, Porous Lane has transformed the sturdiness, elasticity and reliability of the humble tyre into permeable paving.

Creating the optimum blend affords a surface with great flexibility, both in supporting heavy loads and maintaining shape when no load is present.
