The development of novel drugs, treating pulmonary fibrosis.

These researchers are leading an asthma drug discovery venture aimed at treating symptoms of severe steroid-resistant asthma, with the potential use as a possible COVID-19 recovery drug.

Two approved drugs that are currently used to treat pulmonary fibrosis, help to slow but do not halt or cure the disease. There is a significant need for new drugs to treat the disease.
